Terms of Service

These Terms govern all contracts between Juri Barcellos da Rocha (“we”, “us”) and you (“the customer”) entered into via buildscore.fit.

1. What we sell

  • The 12-Week Program (€67, one-time payment) — a printable PDF (~90 pages, lifetime access) plus twelve weeks of access to the J/B Just Build app.
  • App subscription (€7.99/month regular; €4.99/month alumni rate for program graduates) — optional continuation of app access after the twelve-week program. Cancel anytime.
  • Free quiz + blueprint — the BuildScore diagnostic with a personalized mini-plan.

2. Contract formation

Product displays on the site are not binding offers. By clicking the purchase button and completing payment at Stripe, you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded upon confirmation email from us.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are final consumer prices in Euro. In accordance with §19 UStG (small-business regulation under German law), no value-added tax is charged or shown.

Payments are processed exclusively via Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland). Accepted methods: credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Payment is due at contract conclusion.

4. Delivery and availability

On your consent to immediate performance (see our withdrawal policy), we grant access to the PDF and the app immediately after successful payment. Access is keyed to the email address you used at checkout.

We target 99 % annual-average app availability. Short maintenance windows or technical outages are possible.

5. Term and cancellation (app subscription)

One-time purchase of the 12-Week Program: no auto-renewal. App access automatically expires after twelve weeks.

Optional post-program subscription: you may start the alumni subscription at €4.99/month at the end of the twelve weeks. The subscription renews monthly until you cancel.

Cancel any time, without reason, effective at the end of the current billing period:

You will receive a cancellation confirmation by email. Access remains active until the end of the paid period.

6. Withdrawal right

As a consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Details in our withdrawal policy. We also offer a voluntary 14-day satisfaction guarantee.

7. Own responsibility / disclaimer

Not medical advice. The program and all content on buildscore.fit are not medical, therapeutic, or nutritional-therapy advice and do not replace a doctor or licensed therapist. With pre-existing conditions, injuries, pregnancy, or any uncertainty about your fitness to exercise, please consult a doctor before starting.

Exercise at your own risk. You perform all exercises independently and at your own responsibility. We are not liable for personal injury or property damage caused by improper execution, overtraining, or disregard of our guidance (e.g. on deloads, warm-ups, rest).

Individual results depend on many factors (genetics, sleep, stress, nutrition outside the plan, consistency). We make no guarantees about specific outcomes.

8. Liability

We are liable without limit for damages from injury to life, body, or health caused by our intentional or negligent breach of duty, and for other damages caused by our intent or gross negligence.

For other damages we are only liable where we breach material contractual duties, and limited to the contract-typical foreseeable damage.

9. Statutory warranty for digital products

Statutory warranty rights under §§327 ff. BGB (German Civil Code) apply. For defects (broken PDF, non-working app access, etc.), please contact hello@buildscore.fit promptly. We will rectify as quickly as possible.

10. Copyright and use

All content (PDF, app, site text, graphics) is copyrighted. You receive a simple, non-transferable license for personal use.

Prohibited:

  • Sharing the PDF or app content with third parties
  • Commercial use (e.g. as a coach for your own clients)
  • Publishing content (whole or partial) on other websites, social media, or platforms

Printing the PDF for your own personal use is permitted.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms with effect for the future. For ongoing subscriptions we will notify you at least six weeks before the change takes effect. If you do not object within six weeks, the changes are deemed accepted. We will remind you of the consequences in the notification.

12. Closing provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where you habitually reside remain unaffected.

Place of jurisdiction, to the extent legally permissible: Hamburg.

If individual provisions are invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.

13. Online dispute resolution

EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We do not participate in consumer arbitration proceedings.
